Hi i'm a newb.
So everyone updated on the AeonFlux movie ordeal?? I was reading up [ reminder this is all new news to me ] And it seems Charlize Theron is to play Aeon. I cant see it honestly, she just ... ughh haha I'd much rather someone else but then again i think noone can touch Aeons sexuality and movements on screen. Impossible. So yeah, give me your input and be my friend. :]

I have a livejournal community that is about Alexander the Great called  atgstories and then there is my
 hephaestion
You can find short stories and fanfiction (homoerotic in nature aka slash/yaoi for the net terms) - I"m a big ATG fan. I really enjoyed Reign. I have the DVD set. I was upset that they slighted Hephaistion's relationship with Alexander :sigh: seems something that is done way too often. I was hoping for Reign to be a lot more 'yaoi-ish' but I guess it wasn't.

ok found out the easter egg cheats....in dvd 3 goto extras and left arrow....alex's eyes should lite up, then press enter...
on dvd 4, goto extras and up arrow....
concerning the movie, history states that alex was about 5'4" and blond or golden haired... a far cry from the long limbed basketball star body of "reign".
i dont much care for either leo or colin. i think jon rhys meyers would be a much better alexander...
angelina jolie is on point as olympias tho..

Hey! I've been in the community for a bit, but never really said anything >_> Anyway, my mom handed me a magazine article chitting about the Alexander movie that's coming up, and after searching online for info about it, I came across this! Though it doesn't give a tentative release date, I've seen on quite a few other sites that it's November 2004.
In any case, have fun with that... at the bottom there are production photos, but beyond the cast list, mini synopsis, and little updates, there's not much information.

ALEXANDER THE GREAT - MY FAVORITE SUBJECT (HISTORY BUFF YA KNOW) SO ANYWAY, JUST AS I START GETTING INTO THE SHOW, CARTOON NETWORK TAKES IT OFF!! LUCKILY, MY LOCAL SUNCOAST VID STORE HAD THE 4PACK DVD SET, SO MY "OBSESSION" CAN LAST A WHILE!!
2 QUESTIONS - HAS ANYONE SEEN THE ORIGINAL TRAILER FOR ALEXANDER SENKI, WHERE CASSANDRA AND ROXANNE ARE SWITCHED? IS THIS THE SENKI TWO HOUR MOVIE TRAILER? NICE TO SEE ALEXANDER ACTUALLY GET LUSTY AND KISS SOMEONE OTHER THAN PHILOTAS....ALSO, THE GIRLS KIND OF MADE MORE SENSE THE IN THE ORIGINAL TRAILER, BECAUSE ROXANNE LOOKS LIKE DARIUS....

LOVESPELL ROMANCE BOOKS HAS A TITLE OUT CALLED THE CONQUERER - IT IS A SEMI HISTORICAL ACCOUNT OF ALEXANDERS TAKE OVER OF PERSIA AND HIS MARRIAGE TO ROXANNE....ALL THE CHARACTERS THAT WE KNOW AND LOVE ARE IN IT (HEP, PTOLEMY, ) CLEITUS IS REFERRED TO AS "BLACK CLEITUS" AND EVEN BUCEPHELUS IS THERE....STANDARD BODICE RIPPER BUT IT IS FUN!!

I've got the first three volumes of Reign: The Conquest, and will be purchasing the fourth shortly. I read on the tokyopop website that there are easter eggs on some of the DVD, but I can't figure out how to get into them. Anyone know how?

I've had a nifty idea but I don't know if it'll work. I'd like to form a writing and drawing group here in W. Massachusetts (USA) for occult, horror, vampire, witch, manga, anime fans.
I live in W. Springfield and I know that I work better around creative people so I'd love it if all interested people could meet up some place local, like up in NoHo or Easthampton.
We could even form some sort of LJ intermingling forum for the times when we're not in group together in order to keep communication lines open or exchange spur of the moment ideas! Now I'm asking about local stuff but for the LJ forum, we could always use all sorts of creative people, from all areas of the world for that! Heh, who knows, at some point we can even go so far as to hook up a laptop at our group sessions so that others can join in even if they aren't there (but that's way into the future kind of stuff).
